The Dragonfly Sushi Bar: A Culinary Gem in Windsor's Asian Fusion Scene

Ordered takeout here on New Year’s Day. The order was ready right on time, staff were friendly and most importantly the food was amazing! - everything was so fresh! So glad to find this little gem!

Overall, one of the best dining experiences I've had in Windsor. The sushi was fresh and very tasty. Each roll was trying to out-do the others. The Chinese donut with salmon was also phenomenal. For dessert we went with the cinnamon banana spring rolls and they were the perfect capstone for the meal. Service was great and the owner is a chill dude. Will definitely be returning.

This wonderful small family restaurant is a true gem and my favourite place to dine in the city. The atmosphere is laid back and welcoming, and the quality of food and service is unmatched. They make the best sushi and their coconut curry soup is divine. Thank you, Michelle and Shane, for creating such a lovely place to eat and relax, I will keep coming back forever!

Phenomenal quality, fresh ingredients, consistently delicious, generous portions, always satisfied ordering from here! Great variety of rolls and sauces; highly recommend the Dragonfly sauce and Shitake Soy sauce. I’ve tried almost every roll, love them all. You can get rolls without green onion, I always opt for it, works well with all my favourite rolls. Ratio of rice to other ingredients is perfect, the owner and chef definitely mastered that! Fresh chunks of fish is incredibly satiating. I always order take out, their online system works great. Pick up is easy, the couple running the store are awesome, always kind and welcoming. Attention to detail is next level, from the food preparation, interior decor of the store, and to the careful packaging; items always neatly arranged for the ride home.

The atmosphere and dim lighting is really captivating at this restaurant. When we arrived, the waitress there was busy so I understood why we waited around for water. The chicken banh mi really shocked me because traditionally, the sandwich is shaped in a sub bun instead of a burger bun, but the flavour of this sandwich was incredible. Their dragonfly sauce was really delicious as well! When I come back to Windsor, I would come again.

Excellent sushi and street food here! My friend was right to bring me here. It was different from Japan and Asian places and that is a compliment because it’s similar but has its own unique twist. Met the owners Shane and Michelle, super nice couple. They made something special here. Everything was terrific so it’s hard to recommend something but they got a dumpling machine imported from Japan so I say dumplings. They are as good as any I’ve had anywhere. Awesome place!

I visited for the first time last week for my birthday and the food was delicious. The restaurant had a great vibe, with mood lighting, a quaint restaurant but was perfect!The waitress was great, we asked to be moved to a different seat as it was cold near the front door/windows and they moved us. 5/5 stars! Thanks for a great night!
